Sweet-toothed Glaswegians queued for ice-cream across the city yesterday afternoon despite the subzero temperatures.
Locals embraced the chilly elements and fished out skis, snowboards and sledges to make the most of the snowy snap.

As residents delighted in the snowfall, a sweet treat proved to hit the spot as Glaswegians swapped snowballs for snowcones.

Revellers were pictured queueing for a sweet treat in Queen's Park and in Milton.

Elsewhere, roads in Glasgow were transformed into ski and sledge slopes as snowsport enthusiasts took to the streets in the West End, East end and city centre.
A yellow weather warning will remain in place until 11.59pm today, with temperatures below -1° expected to last throughout the day.
Residents are urged to be cautious of untreated roads and surfaces.
