A WOMAN who crashed her car in Airdrie was reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
The 59-year-old allegedly failed to stop at the scene of the accident on Wednesday afternoon.
Police attended at Wester Mavisbank Avenue. The woman was later traced by officers.
She will appear in court charged with road traffic offences including alleged drink driving and failing to stop after a road accident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.45pm on Wednesday, February 10, officers attended a report of a road crash involving a Ford Focus and Renault Clio on Wester Mavisbank Avenue, Airdrie.

"The 59-year-old woman driving the Ford Focus failed to stop at the scene and was traced by officers.
"Ambulance were not required to attend. She is subject of a report to the procurator fiscal for road traffic offences."
