POLICE are investigating the sudden death of a man in a Govanhill flat.
Officers are still at the scene in the South Side after being called to the area at 8.40am this morning.
The Glasgow Times told earlier today of a police presence on Westmoreland Street.
Cops have since confirmed the sudden death of a man in a flat in a tenement building.

A spokeswoman said the death is being treated as unexplained but is not thought to be suspicious.
This morning officers were guarding the door of the building and visitors were being turned away as they approached and groups of people were gathered at the end of the street.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a report of the sudden death of a man at a property on Westmoreland Street, Glasgow, around 8.40am on Friday, February 19.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
