A MURDER probe has been launched after a man was found dead in Parkhead.
Valerijs Litvins, 45, was found dead in a flat in Burgher Street in the East End on Sunday night.
His death is not thought to be football-related.

A post-mortem was conducted after the discovery and police are now treating his death as murder.
Police remained on the scene this afternoon.
Uniformed officers guarded the taped-off close as workers barricaded the windows of the ground-floor flat.
His neighbours had to enter the building via the backcourt as police carried out their investigations.

Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Grant of Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team, said: "Officers have been in the area carrying out enquiries, checking CCTV and speaking to local residents in an effort to establish the circumstances surrounding his death, however, we are still keen to hear from anyone who may have information that would assist our investigation.
"We would be interested to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the street, or anyone who may have heard a disturbance in the area that night to contact us.

Detectives have also set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to submit information.
