TRIBUTES are planned for Dylan Mitchell who died suddenly just 22-years-old. 

The young father's death has broken the hearts of those who knew him. 

He is survived by his 3-year-old son Hayden. The tot's devastated mother said: "My heart is honestly shattered. How do you tell a 3-year-old he will never see his dad again?"

Friends will gather at Helenslea Park in the East End to let off green, white and gold fireworks in a tribute to the Celtic-daft young man on Friday at 7pm. 

His best friend, Kyle Chrystal, said: "I wish someone would wake me up out of this nightmare.

"I am absolutely broken. My best pal, he was my brother, Dylan stood by me when nobody else did.

"He pulled me up out the trenches time after time when nobody else would touch me. He always seen the light in me, words can’t describe the pain I’m in just now and this is a void in my heart that will never ever be filled."

He played for AFC Chryston who expressed their sadness at Dylan's passing. 

In a statement, the club said: "Sad news today about one of our players, young Dylan Mitchell, who has passed away.

"Another young life took too soon. Our condolences to all of Dylan's family from all at AFC Chryston."
