FILMING for a brand new crime drama took place in Inverclyde.
Six-part series Annika is being shot at various locations around the district, as well as further down the coast at Largs Marina.
Stars of the series were on location at Lunderston Bay on Tuesday morning until just after lunchtime to shoot a number of scenes.
The car park was restricted and drivers asked to avoid the area if possible by council bosses.
The series is adapted from a Radio 4 drama and is based on brutal murders that wash up in the waterways of Scotland.
Olivier-award-winner Nicola Walker, who also starred in The Split and Unforgotten, will bring the lead character DI Annika Strandhed to life. Walker also voiced Annika during the audio series.
Annika is due to air on the Alibi channel later this year.
