GLASGOW drag queen Lawrence Chaney has made the coveted final of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and is within inches of snatching the crown.
The BBC Three series has been a huge hit for audiences in lockdown, with a reported 12 million viewers tuning in to BBC iPlayer to watch Lawrence and his fellow contestants compete for the title of the UK's next drag superstar.
We look back at the Glasgow queen's best moment of the series, and why he's considered a fan-favourite to win the series in tonight's final.
Lawrence made Glasgow proud straight from the get-go with a Charles Rennie Mackintosh-inspired runway look as part of the 'Queen of your Hometown' runway in episode one.
He stood out as a fierce competitor from the first episode, greeting RuPaul with a witty "Alright RuPaul, how's it hanging?", immediately launching him into the fan-favourite category.
RuPaul also had a soft spot for the queen, creating a catchphrase of 'Lawrence Chaney!' in a brogue Scottish accent every time he referred to the Glasgow star.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on her daytime show this morning, Lawrence said: "My mind is still blown because I'm such a huge RuPaul fan. I stole a cardboard cutout off a bus of RuPaul when I was like 17 so never did I think that I would ever meet Rupaul in person.
"I love that now in supermarkets everyone just shouts at me 'Lawrence Chaney!'."
As part of the 'United Kingdolls' in the Eurovision challenge, Lawrence created one of the catchiest songs of the year in 'UK Hun?' alongside fellow queens Bimini Bon Boulash, Tayce and A'Whora.
The song was such a hit with audiences that it reached number four in the Official UK Charts.
Lawrence also opened up about his struggles with bullying in school throughout the series after finding himself in the bottom two for the first time in episode six.
He said: "When I was younger, bigger kid, you know? Made fun of for everything under the sun.
"Having that humour is the only thing I was able to punch back at."
RuPaul backed the Helensburgh-born queen, saying: "You are not that little boy anymore.
"You are a fierce queen on the most incredible stage in the world. But just keep fighting because it's not an accident that you're here."
He finished the semi-final on a high note with a hilarious turn in 'Beastenders', landing himself a spot in the final alongside Tayce, Bimini Bon Boulash and Dundee queen Ellie Diamond.
Since making the final, Lawrence has had backing from fans hoping for him to take the title of the UK's next drag superstar as part of #TeamLAwrence.
