UPDATE: Kilbowie Road: Bomb squad probe suspicious package near Singer train station
A MAIN road in the centre of Clydebank has been closed as police officers attend an incident in the area.
Officers were called out to Kilbowie Road at around 12.15pm on Thursday following reports of concern for a person.
One passerby told our sister title the Post they had seen a man being searched near Singer railway station.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
Trains and buses have been diverted away from the area.
NEW: The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Bowling and Drumry, so services from Dalmuir to Larkhall, Balloch to Airdrie and Dalmuir to Motherwell will be diverted via Yoker.
