GLASGOW'S Lawrence Chaney has been crowned the UK’s next drag superstar.
The fan-favourite was named as the winner of the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in tonight's episode.
In a final showdown, Lawrence Chaney lip-synced to Elton John's I'm Still Standing against Welsh drag queen Tayce and Norwich star Bimini.

In a chat with RuPaul and fellow judge Michelle Visage, Lawrence said: “My drag has fully allowed all of the creative juices to come out of me.
“You know when I was a kid I loved drawing and sketching and acting, and my mum sewed me costumes when I was like four.”
“I really like how I can go from this weird looking man who is a wee bit short and stout to being this kind of Glamazon with a cinched-in waist and big hips, big boobs and big hair. I think it is so fabulous.”

Lawrence also made it clear that Glasgow will always be his home when asked if he would move to London.
He said: "Glasgow is where my heart is. My central base I always want to be in Glasgow."
During the episode, the contestants showcased their singing and dancing talents while performing their own verse for RuPaul’s song ‘A Little Bit of Love’.
In a touching moment during the performance, all the eliminated queens stepped out onto the stage and joined the performance.
Talking to the judges after the challenge, Lawrence said: "I started drag in Scotland. What I started with was making connections, making people laugh and being that escapism for people.
"I want to show no matter how bullied you are and how weird you look - you can do anything. I want to show the UK and the world everything I have to offer."
Well done Lawrence - we are so proud of you.
