THE FAMILY of a man who was murdered in Easterhouse have been left "devastated" by the young father's death. 

Kamil Charyszyn was discovered fatally injured on Conisborough Road on Sunday, March 21.

Emergency services attended, however he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The 35-year-old's two children, aged just 12 and 10, have been left distraught as they try to come to terms with their dad's death. 

Yesterday, scores of locals from the East End held a balloon release in honour of the "hard-working family man". 

White balloons - the colour of innocence in his native Poland - were released by mourners for the father-of-two.

Murder cops believe that the answers behind his death lie locally as detectives have re-appealed to the public for information. 

Detective Chief Inspector Alan McAlpine from the Major Investigation Team, said: “Our extensive inquiries are continuing and we will trace whoever is involved in this crime. 

"I would like to take this opportunity to point out that a hard-working, family man has been murdered and his family including two young children aged just 12 and 10 years of age, have been left devastated, trying to come to terms with his death.

“I know that many people were shocked by this murder and we are working hard to trace those involved.  I believe that the answer lies locally and I would appreciate any information that the public can provide.

“This is a busy area and I have no doubt that there are people who hold vital information on this investigation, who have not yet come forward to police.  

"This may be because people may think that we know the information they hold. 

"Please don’t assume that we do, if there is anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may appear, that information is relevant and might prove critical to this investigation.  I would urge people who hold any details to do the right thing and come forward.

“Additional police patrols continue in the local area to provide reassurance to the community.  Anyone with concerns can speak to these officers.”

A 22-year-old man was earlier arrested in connection with the incident.
