BRAZEN thieves broke into a shop and stole a five-figure sum of cash in an overnight raid.
The criminals broke into the Day Today shop in Woodland Crescent, Cambuslang at around 1.40am today.
They caused serious damage to the inside of the store and raided an ATM attached to the premises for a large amount of cash.

It's thought the gang made off in a dark-blue Audi estate after the raid.
Detective Constable Christine McLanachan, of Cambuslang Police Station, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries in Woodland Crescent and speaking to members of the public.
"We are gathering and viewing CCTV footage from in and around the local area to help us trace the Audi involved and find out where it travelled to after the incident.

“At this time, I would like to hear from anyone with any information on this crime or the vehicle involved, including anyone with dash-cam footage who may have witnessed anything significant to this enquiry.
“Information can be passed to Cambuslang Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 0187 of April 22. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted through 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
