A MAN has been arrested following an armed response incident in Rutherglen yesterday.
Several cops were seen with firearms in a video that was circulating on social media.
A helicopter could be heard circling above.
A 32-year-old was arrested on Glasgow Road, near to Hillington Motor Company, at around 4pm.
Police say a car was stopped following an intelligence lead operation.

Nobody was injured and cops have ensured there is no risk to the wider public.
A Police spokeswoman said: “Around 4pm on Monday, April 26, officers stopped a car on Glasgow Road, Rutherglen, following an intelligence lead operation.
"A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
"Nobody was injured and there was no risk to the wider public.”
