MARTIN COMPSTON has revealed he loved a "wee rave" to GBX tunes as a boy and joked about St Johnstone's penalties success.
The Line of Duty star also revealed his favourite Ted Hasting's line from the hit BBC cop drama, in an interview with Clyde 1 DJ George Bowie.

The Celtic-daft actor - who plays DCI Steve Arnott on the show - teased George over Rangers defeat on penalties against St Johnstone.

George - whose wife is a Light Blues fan - revealed his wife wanted to keep watching the game when it went to penalties, which was also the same time Line of Duty started.
Martin joked: "Well the way they penalties turned out, I'd have probably watched them."
The star also took a trip down memory lane, revisiting his misspent youth in Greenock's Battery Park listening to dance music with his friends.

Dressed in a Kappa trackie a young Martin would have a "wee rave to the tunes", blasting the likes of Still Into You by GBX and Paramore; Show Me Love by Steve Angello and Running 48 Hours by Micky Modelle.

And the pair discussed everyone's new favourite Ted Hastings-ism: "Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey."
Martin said: "When you're sitting there doing it, I was already seeing the memes.
"You just know what's coming after it."
