A CARE worker was grabbed by the throat by a woman she was trying to help.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Carolyn Martin assaulted the senior support worker on April 15, 2019.
The staff member found the 45-year-old lying on a mattress while appearing to be intoxicated within an address on Queen Mary Avenue.

The procurator fiscal depute said last week: “She was talking to herself with her eyes half closed.”
As an ambulance was called, Martin began to stand up and, after being told to sit back down, she grabbed the care worker by the throat with her left hand.
She attempted to do the same with her right hand, but was stopped by the staff member.
Her defence agent said Martin had grown up in difficult circumstances and was no residing at Govanhill Women’s Project .
