An investigation has been launched following a blaze in a Glasgow Park. 

Firefighters worked through the night to tackle the fire at the Sports Pavilion near the north entrance of Victoria Park. 

Two fire engines were mobilised to the scene.

The blaze was put out and crews left the scene hours later at around 4.13am. 

There are no reports of casualties.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "We received a call of a building fire at 23.16pm.

"We mobilised two pumps. There are no reports of casualties."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 11.55pm on Friday, May 21 2021, police received a report of a fire at the Sports Pavilion in Victoria Park.

"Emergency services attended and enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire."
