A NEW dining experience could be coming to the city's Duke Street according to plans submitted to the council.
An application has been received by the local authority for the former TSB bank to be used as a restaurant with takeaway facility.

The planning statement said: "The proposed change of use of this vacant bank into a restaurant will see a new dining experience introduced into the street.
"The new restaurant will complement other establishments in the area and contribute to the areas appeal for both residents and visitors alike."

If approved, the restaurant would operate Sunday to Thursday 10 am to 11 pm and Friday and Saturday, 10 am to midnight.
A decision is expected on the proposal by July 2.
