THE street outside a Glasgow primary school has been locked down after part of the road collapsed.
Police were on the scene at Elmvale Primary School today after a sink hole emerged in the middle of Fernbank Street.

Parents of children at the school were warned to take more time to drop off young ones tomorrow morning due to the obstruction.
The area around the hole has been taped off.

In a post to social media, the Springburn school said: "Please allow extra time for your journey to school tomorrow as Fernbank Street is currently closed due to some damage in the road outside the main gate.
"Diversion currently via Memel Street and Elmvale Street.
"Thanks to Police Scotland for your support today with keeping our families safe."
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Officers were called to assist with traffic management around a hole in the roadway on Hawthorn Street, Glasgow, which was reported to police at around 2.50pm on Tuesday, June 1.
"The council have been contacted to attend. Local diversions are in place."
It is not known if council officers are on the scene but the local authority was approached for comment.
