A MAN was found injured in the street after being attacked in the early hours of the morning in Paisley.
The 28-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment before being released following the assault in the Clarence Street area today at around 1 am.
CID investigating the crime said inquiries into the serious assault are ongoing. They provided no further details on how the man was attacked.

Detective Constable Dougie Macfarlane, from Paisley CID, said: “Thankfully, the man did not require any extensive treatment, but this is an incident that could quite easily have turned much more serious.
“I am appealing for anyone in the Clarence Street or Seedhill area of Paisley, who may have seen anything suspicious in the early hours of this morning, to please come forward.
“If you believe you may have information which could assist our enquiries, call 101, quoting incident 0183 of 10 June. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
