A DRUNK lout hurled sectarian abuse and spat at a police officer.
Steven Blakely, 65, made the remarks at his home in Glasgow's Anniesland and a police station on October 12, 2020.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Blakely dialled 999 while drunk which led police to attend his address.
Prosecutor Claire Wallace said: "He was found on the floor and he shouted 'fenian wh***' then he was put under arrest.
"Handcuffs were applied and he spat at PC Mark Pocock.
"He was taken to Clydebank police office where he said 'fenian b****** you big p***'."

Blakely pleaded guilty to assaulting PC Pocock by spitting on him.
He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards police which was aggravated by religious prejudice.
Sentence was deferred until next month for background reports by Sheriff Paul Reid.
Blakely was remanded in custody meantime.
