AN adventure park is preparing to open in Glasgow, promising a "must-visit" experience for adrenaline junkies. 

Play Port will take its first bookings from thrill-seekers today and is a combination of existing facilities at Port Dundas.

The partnership will bring together canoeing from Pinkston Watersports, skateboarding and BMX-ing from the Loading Bay Skatepark and whitewater tubing from the Glasgow Wake Park.

It's hoped that bringing the various spots together will be easy to book for visitors.

The park will open its doors in earnest next month. 

Director of The Loading Bay skatepark John Bailey said: “We’re so proud to have launched Play Port – a partnership between three incredible sporting venues jam-packed with adventurous experiences.
