A VICIOUS gang of thugs sent a man to hospital in a vicious late-night ambush.
The violent trio set about a 47-year-old man in Houston Road, near its junction with Crosslee Park last night at around 11.30pm.

He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment to a serious head injury.
Luckily, his injuries were not life-threatening and he has now been released from hospital.
The attackers fled the scene in the direction of Houston Primary School.
Police are now hunting the thugs and urge anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Paul Fanning, of Renfrewshire CID, said: “Thankfully the man has been released from hospital and has not sustained life-threatening injuries.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed the assault to get in contact with police.
“I would also ask if there is any motorists or homeowners with possible dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist with our investigation to come forward and speak to officers.
