A FIRE at a train station just outside Glasgow caused delays to travel early this morning.
Scotrail informed customers on Twitter that a fire had broken out "next to the track" at the Caldercruix station, with services to and from Glasgow impacted, at around 7.00am this morning.

The transport company updated travellers shortly after, saying that the fire had been extinguished and that work has begun to get the schedule back up and running.

are no longer affected by this problem.
Services are now back to normal at the station.
