A GANG of ruthless thugs battered a man behind a community centre in an apparently random broad daylight attack before making off.
The group approached their victim when he was standing beside the Balgrayhill Community Centre in Springburn on Monday, between 6pm and 8pm on Monday, June 28. Police were not able to provide a more specific time.

The 35-year-old was punched and kicked by the attackers before they fled the scene.
Medics treated him at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The group are described as being between four or five men strong and between the ages of 18 and 20.
Detective Constable Peter Lagan of Maryhill CID, said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked attack which has left a man with serious facial injuries after he was punched and kicked.

“I am appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have seen something to come forward. Also, if anyone was driving and may have captured footage on dash-cam that could help with our enquiries, please get in touch.
