THREE people were left with "superficial injuries" after an on-board fight at Anniesland train station last night.
British Transport Officers were called to Anniesland station at 6.24pm after reports of a fight on-board a train travelling from Balloch.
They say that three people received treatment for "superficial injuries", while one person was arrested in connection, although they have now been released.
Detectives have now launched an urgent appeal for witnesses of the incident.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Detectives are urgently appealing for witnesses following a fight involving a large group of youths on-board a service travelling between Balloch and Anniesland railway stations.
"Officers were called to Anniesland railway station at 6.24pm following reports of a fight on-board a train travelling from Balloch.
"One person was arrested on suspicion of a Section 38 offence and has since been released while enquiries into this incident continue. Three people received treatment for superficial injuries.
"Any witnesses, or anyone with information, can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 552 of 01/07/21.
