A road in Glasgow has suffered damage following heavy rainfall yesterday.
It comes as we reported that drivers were warned to avoid flooded streets in Maryhill after torrential rain left parts of the area underwater.
Glasgow City Council (GCC) confirmed that they were aware of damage on Balmore Road near to the Stables after the downpour.

A spokeswoman for GCC said: "Following last evening's heavy rainfall event, there is some damage to a section of Balmore Road that will require repairs.
"The affected area has been made safe meantime and has been appropriated signed and coned off."
