False alarm after Glasgow street locked down following suspected gas leak
A GLASGOW street was locked down earlier today as a result of a suspected gas leak.
Emergency crews were spotted at Battlefield Road in the Southside at around 5pm this afternoon.
However, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that it was a false alarm and the scene is now clear.
