A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a "distressing" incident in Toryglen.
The 33-year-old will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
We previously reported that cops received a report of a man alleged to have been in possession of two weapons in Prospecthill Circus on Wednesday.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: "Following reports of a man being seen in possession of two weapons in the Prospecthill Circus area of Glasgow on Wednesday, July 7, Police Scotland can now confirm that a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the matter.
"He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
Inspector Crawford Inglis, from Cathcart Police Station, said: "I'd like to thank the community for their assistance with our investigation, following what was clearly a distressing situation."
