A NEW restaurant with takeaway could open in the city's South Side if city planners approve the project.
The application for the eatery has been lodged with the council.
The applicant behind the venture wants to turn office premises used by MSP James Dornan on Clarkston Road in Cathcart into a restaurant.

No details of the type of cuisine on offer is included in the application nor is the proposed opening times.
A decision is expected to be made on the planning application by August 27.
The last date for comments is August 4.
