CELTIC striker Leigh Griffiths has been cleared by police over claims he sent inappropriate messages to two schoolgirls.
Officers say they have found no criminality in the social media posts following a "full assessment" by detectives.
The Hoops striker, 30, was sent home from their training camp last week as cops and the club launched separate probes into the incidents.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "In relation to recent reporting regarding alleged inappropriate communications online, a full assessment has been carried out and it’s been established there is no criminality."
A spokesman for Celtic said last week: “We have been made aware of online comments concerning Leigh Griffiths. The club will now look into this matter carefully.
“Leigh has left the Club’s training camp as we do this."
Griffiths, a dad-of-five, recently signed on for another year at Parkhead after looking like he was nearing the exit door.
