A NEW rooftop bar and restaurant in Glasgow celebrated its well-awaited opening over the weekend.
Every detail of VEGA, located on floor seven of YOTEL Glasgow, has been designed to wow and light up guests’ social media feeds.
From a world-first immersive disco lift, extraordinary views, glossy interiors, and a bowling alley, the Argyle Street venue is now welcoming guests from today.
Manager Euan Wilson said: “Our crew have been working incredibly hard over the past few months adding the finishing touches to our menus and getting the venue ready but now it’s time to show Glasgow what VEGA is all about.

"There’s nothing quite like us in the city and with our ambitious plans and abundance of energy, it is beyond exciting to be officially opening our doors and welcoming our first guests into the space.”
Over the weekend, influencers including Amy Moore, Abigail Comrie and Lyds Butler (pictured above) enjoyed checking out the new bar.
It also hosted Scotland’s Instagram & TikTok glitterati including Laura Gilmour, Nathan Kerr, Hannah Simpson, and ex Love Island contestant Wallace Wilson.
VEGA has a space-age theme and cocktail enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their favourites served in disco ball punch bowls.
The venue will be offering a 50 per cent discount on food between 19-27 July, before officially opening on July 28.
