THEY have become a fixture on the Glasgow skyline... but the first of three cruise ships moored on the Clyde is to make her way back to sea.
Azamara Quest, and sister ships Azamara Pursuit and Azamara Journey, have been berthed at King George V Dock since June last year.
Now Quest is to be the first to say goodbye to Glasgow when she sets sail on Monday at 12.30pm, guided by tug boats and river pilots.
Our scheduled departure time has changed to 12:30pm local time, hope to see you all there! https://t.co/pgP6fFJdv9

Crowds lined the banks at Clydebank, Renfrew and Braehead to see the cruise liners sail in - and hundreds are expected to watch them depart.
Cruise ships normally dock at Greenock's Ocean Terminal, meaning this is the first time such large ships have been seen in the city since the hey day of Clyde shipbuilding.
Over the past year, the skeleton crew left onboard to care for the vessels has been posting of their life in port on social media.

As well as birthday cake, the crew has been making the most of ice cream days to pass the time.

No dates have yet been announced for the departure of the two sister ships.
But we know Glasgow is going to be extremely sad to see them go.
