A MAJOR drugs bust in the South Side of Glasgow has resulted in a man being arrested and charged over the huge haul.
Cops found £10,000 worth of cannabis on top of a four-figure sum of cash after stopping a car in Deanston Drive yesterday.
Acting on a warrant, officers raided an address in Walton Street later that day, where they discovered around £370,000 worth of the Class B drug and thousands in cash.
A 30-year-old man is due in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson of Great Glasgow CID said :“Removing drugs from our streets continues to remains a priority for officers. I would ask anyone with any information about drug activity in their area to report this to us so that we can investigate thoroughly.”
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
