A NEW gym will open in the city's Skypark creating 16 jobs.
énergie Fitness have signed a deal to take over the lower ground floor at 54 Finnieston Square.
The fitness firm said their gym will feature 40 group exercise classes per week across three studio areas. There is also a dedicated spin studio.
The new gym will be the sixth énergie Fitness to open in Scotland.

Managing director Matt Roberts said: “We are delighted to announce the grand opening of our brand new énergie Fitness club at Skypark!
"We are creating 16 new jobs to include personal trainers and fitness instructors across club."
He added: "Our aim is to provide a personal, friendly and community focused gym where members will feel completely comfortable regardless of their fitness levels.
"We will always have the team on the gym floor to ensure training is safe. We accommodate for everyone’s goals and our friendly, approachable team are more than willing to support your needs.
"Our large 16,000 sq. ft. facility will consist of an extensive range of cardio equipment complete with state-of-the-art Preva technology, resistance and plate loaded equipment, comprehensive free weights, and functional training areas. We’ve got everything you need to achieve your goals!”
Skypark’s strategic lettings advisor Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital said: “énergie Fitness is a welcome addition to our business location and compliments the new Platinum CyclingScore cycling facilities, and our physiotherapy and massage clinics. I am pleased to confirm that énergie Fitness will take a 10 year lease on 16,000 sq. ft. of bespoke space.”
