A lorry has collided with a railway bridge just outside Glasgow.
The lorry struck the bridge on Glasgow Road in Milngavie earlier today.
East Dunbartonshire Police confirmed that the incident had closed the road at Burnbrae Roundabout and at the junction of Auchenhowie Road, while investigations into the incident got underway.
A diversion through Glasgow Road and Main Street is currently in place.

They said: "We have closed the A81 Glasgow Road, Milngavie at Burnbrae Roundabout and at its junction with Auchenhowie Rd.
"Closure due to a HGV coming into contact with the railway bridge near Allander water.
"Diversions via remaining A81 Glasgow Road & Main Street. Auchenhowie Road is open."
East Dunbartonshire Council has also urged people to avoid the area.
