A BELOVED Glasgow seafood restaurant will reopen, quashing fears it would close for good, according to reports.
Rogano's owners confirmed in a statement that the iconic Exchange Place would reopen - but not any time soon.
A spokeswoman for Lynnet Leisure told Glasgow Live: "Rogano will return but we have no plans for the venue to open this year."
The restaurant has been boarded up since lockdown began in March last year.
It has decorated its protective boards with eye-catching murals which change regularly.
The final installation is "Jazz in the Oyster Bar" by Katie Smith, who said: "Rogano is the most magical place and I am so proud to be able to create an illustration that encapsulates the joyous 1930's charm.
"I wanted to capture the Art Deco style inside and the glitz and glamour of all the famous characters that would go in for the famous seafood and cocktails.
"Rogano is a landmark of Glasgow and one of the most loved restaurants in the city. I go to Rogano every Christmas Eve for lobster and a Blue Lady cocktail with my sister."
