A MAN is in hospital after being recovered by emergency services from a Glasgow park early this morning.

Police were called to Auldhouse Park at around 3.40am following a report of concern for a man in difficulty close to the Auldhouse Burn.

Emergency services attended and the man was recovered.  

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We were made aware of concern for a man in difficulty close to the Auldhouse Burn at Auldhouse Park in Glasgow shortly after 3.40am on Saturday, 7 August.

"The man was recovered with the assistance of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Scottish Ambulance Service before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment."
