FIFTY houses had to be evacuated due to flooding lastnight.
The fire service received several calls from residents at Summerhill Road, in Drumchapel, at around 4pm.
Crews spent around six hours clearing the water, before leaving at 10.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received numerous calls to Summerhill Road at 4pm on Monday due to flooding.

'We mobilised one appliance to the scene which required assistance from another appliance.
"Approximately 50 houses had to be evacuated as we continued to try and divert the water there.
"We had two pumps in attendance and we left at 10.30pm."
