Old Firm legends Frank McAvennie and Ian Durrant are preparing to tee off in support of a dementia charity.
Hundreds of golfers are taking part in a celebrity tournament at Balmore Golf Club in Glasgow, organised by Battle Against Dementia.
Charity founder Douglas McCluskey said this year’s event, on August 27, will be its biggest yet with 280 players confirmed including pro-golfer Chris Maclean.
He said: “We are hoping to raise in excess of £25,000 with auctions and various opportunities to raise money on the day.
“All the funds will go directly to help people and families affected by dementia.”
Mr McCluskey extended his thanks to the companies sponsoring the event including; Farmfoods, Arnold Clark, Sounder Golf, Clyde Scaffolding and Ice LTD.
