TWO vehicles have been set alight in a "wilful fire-raising incident" in Airdrie.
The vehicles were found on Cumnock Drive at around 11.45pm on Monday, August 9.
Emergency services attended the scene, with police later confirming that the fires had been started deliberately.
Officers are now appealing for information about the incident, and are keen to trace a man they believe may be connected to the fire.

He is described as wearing a dark jacket with reflective stripes at the time of the blaze.
Detective Constable Ben Simpson from Coatbridge CID said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area late on Monday night, and saw anything suspicious, to please get in touch.
“I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were travelling through to check their footage in case they have captured anything of significance.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 4001 of Monday, 9 August 2021. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
