PRO-INDEPENDENCE marchers are taking to the streets of Glasgow today in their first demonstration since Covid restrictions lifted earlier this week.
The Scottish Independence Movement have organised the march, which has now left from Kelvingrove Park and will walk through the city until it reaches Glasgow Green.
Organisers say it is still too early to host a rally and most of those marching are expected to disperse.
In a post on social media, organisers said pro-independence activists have waited "a long time" to be able to march again. Before Covid, regular rallies and demonstrations were held to gather support for the cause.
Police Scotland confirmed they will be in attendance and policing the march appropriately.
