A POPULAR West End bank was temporarily closed due to coronavirus.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) branch on Byres Road was shut earlier this week, with customers directed to sites in the city centre.

The closure prompted fears the location had been permanently closed down, however, RBS has confirmed it is a temporary measure.
A spokesman for the firm said the branch was closed to allow it to be cleaned.

It has since reopened and will resume the opening hours which it had previously been operating.
