A HOSPITAL in Glasgow has revealed that staff are investigating a "number of possible Coivd" cases.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said the possible virus cases are within the Munro ward at Stobhill Hospital, North Glasgow.
This has resulted in no new admissions for the time being, extra cleaning measures and more patient tests.
A NHS GGC spokesperson said: "We would like to thank our staff for their hard work as they continue to care for patients in such challenging circumstances.
"Boards across Scotland have seen increasing demand on services which is compounded by staff absence due to Covid-19 self-isolation, annual leave and other factors.
"We are investigating a number of possible Covid-19 cases within Munro ward at Stobhill.
"In line with NHSGCC’s Infection Prevention and Control procedures, a number of measures have been put in place.
