Asda customers in Govan can look forward to a Japanese themed shop this week as their Helen street branch welcomes a brand new sushi counter.
Fresh fish and vegetable sushi will be made in an open kitchen environment by franchise Sushi Daily who have one other location in Glasgow at Waitrose on Byres road.
The counter will prepare dishes exclusive to Asda customers like their Teriyaki Chicken Classic Roll or 20-piece Hachi menu with four types of sushi for only £10.95.
As well as all the classics, you’ll find Sushi Daily's brand new range of Hawaiian-inspired Poke Bowls which they say will bring the ‘international restaurant trend’ straight into our homes.
Ian Roberts, Managing Director of Sushi Daily said: “With the increasing popularity of Japanese food across the UK, why not recreate that restaurant experience at home and treat yourself, safe in the knowledge that you’re also making a healthier choice than some of the go-to takeaway options?
“Customers can see their sushi being prepared while they shop and even order platters for family meals for special occasions as we look forward to celebrating together once more.”
