Man arrested after 'woman spat on' in street as police appeal to witnesses
A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly spat on.
The reported incident took place at around 12pm on August 19, at Quarry Street in Hamilton.
Officers have revealed they have now made an arrest and are appealing for more information.

Lanarkshire Police Division said: "Officers in Hamilton have arrested a 25-year-old man following information that a woman was spat on in the Quarry Street area, near to Regent Way.
"The incident took place around noon on Thursday, August 19.
"Further enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 1177 of August 19."
