A WOMAN was sexually assaulted on board a train travelling from London to Glasgow last month.
The woman was approached by a man who made "inappropriate comments" towards her at around 9.55pm on Tuesday, August 24.
He then sexually assaulted her and left the train at Glasgow Central.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward and are keen to speak to anyone who may be able to assist in their investigation.

British Transport Police said: "The man is described as a white male in his late 40s, approximately 5’7, with short brown hair and a distinctive mole on the right-hand side of his face.
"He was wearing a dark grey polo shirt with a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
"Witnesses or anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 200 of 25/08/21.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
