Verdict: Five stars.
ROCK 'N ROLL star Liam Gallagher dedicated Live Forever to the victims of 9/11 on the 20th anniversary of the attacks.
The rocker made the tribute tonight as he performed the 1994 Oasis track during his headlining show at TRNSMT music festival. The performance marked Gallagher's return to the festival which he previously headlined in 2018.
Appearing on stage with his famous Gallagher swagger, the Manchester-born icon launched into Oasis classics Hello and What’s The Story Morning Glory.

He then dedicated Rock n’ Roll Star to Primal Scream who earlier appeared on the same stage. He declared: “This one is for Primal Scream, the greatest f***ing rock 'n roll band to ever come out of Scotland.”
In his typical humour he quipped: “Glasgow, Scotland you have been sorely missed man. Sitting at home watching Loose Women, eating the pot noodles, having a staring competition with the cats.”
Jokes aside the 48-year-old then showed off his solo prowess in hits Wall of Glass and Shockwave before returning to familiar territory with Oasis tracks.
He showcased himself as the ultimate frontman by rocking through Stand By Me, Acquiesce, Roll With It and Supersonic.
Throughout the 90 minute set, Gallagher delivered as he would say a 'biblical' vocal performance before finishing off with Wonderwall.
And yet again he proved himself as a headliner and left fans with a night they won't easily forget.
