RANGERS manager Steven Gerrard tonight revealed that Ryan Kent suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 Europa League loss to Lyon at Ibrox.
Winger Kent performed well in the Group A match against the French club and came close to equalising with a shot from the edge of the opposition area in the first-half.
However, the former Liverpool forward limped off with 20 minutes remaining after receiving medical attention on the pitch and was replaced by Kemar Roofe.
Gerrard, whose team play Motherwell at home in the Premiership on Sunday, is unsure what the extent of the problem is.
"Until Kent goes for an MRI scan, your guess on how he is is as good as mine," he said. "There is definitely a hamstring complaint there.
“Yeah, he can feel something in the hamstring. So we’ll assess that and check it out and obviously come back to you once we get the news on that.”
