IF you have a keen interest in music, comedy or plant-based living – you're in luck.
We've put together a list of fun activity ideas you can try out this September Weekend right here in Glasgow.
Without further ado, here's our pick of five things to do in and around the city over the next few days:
1. Scotland Vegan Festival, Hampden Park
The Mount Florida stadium is set to host more than 80 animal welfare stalls, world food caterers offering free samples, demos and inspirational talks this weekend.
The plant-based event will take place between 10.30am-4.30pm on Saturday, September 25.
Entry is £4 on the door (free for under 16s) or £15 VIP tickets can be booked in advance HERE.
2. Playground Festival, Rouken Glen Park
After being pushed back due to uncertainty around Covid restrictions, Glasgow Southside's Playground Festival will finally get underway this weekend.
The three-day event, which takes place at Rouken Glen Park, kicks off today and will feature headline acts such as The Libertines, Nile Rodgers and Boy George.
There will also be food and drink and an acrobatic air show to ensure music fans are kept entertained over the weekend.
There's still time to book a Saturday or Sunday ticket, with further information available HERE.
3. Fun Time Carnivals, Glasgow Green
If you fancy having a go on some new amusements and rides, why not check out Fun Time Carnivals this September Weekend?
Keen thrill-seekers can head along to Glasgow Green between 1pm-9pm for some fairground fun.
The token-operated event is open each day until Thursday, September 30 –so there's plenty of time to get involved.
4. Fore Play Crazy Golf, Kinning Park
Fore Play boasts two nine-hole, Glasgow-inspired courses for grown-up crazy golf fans to enjoy.
Punters can putt their way through, over and under obstacles such as the Finnieston Crane and the Waverley wheel.
The venue also serves street food, including burgers and loaded fries, and has a full bar and cocktail garden.
5. The Saturday Show at The Stand Comedy Club, West End
Popular West End comedy spot The Stand is newly back open for business – and there's still tickets available for its famous Saturday show, which has been sold out every week for the past five years.
The popular club will welcome a range of comedians for the gig, including Glasgow's very own Ray Bradshaw, David Kay, headliner Mary Bourke and one more act TBC.
Tickets for the show and information on Covid-19 protocols can be found HERE.
