GLEN KAMARA admits Rangers' draw with Motherwell was 'hard to take' as the champions suffered a shock setback at Ibrox on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard's side squandered two crucial points in the Premiership title race on the day that they unfurled their 55th league flag.
Fashion Sakala netted his first competitive goal for Rangers as he nodded home from close range after just 12 minutes.
But Rangers would waste a handful of scoring chances thereafter as they failed to kill off the Steelmen and secure the points.
That profligacy would come back to cost them in the end as Kaiyne Woolery earned Graham Alexander's side a share of the spoils.
And Kamara was frustrated with the outcome despite seeing Rangers move a point clear of Hibernian at the top of the Premiership.
Kamara told RangersTV: "Yeah, everyone is a bit down, you know. Obviously we had full control of the game, really, and it is disappointing to get a draw at home. So it is a hard one to take.
"I guess [we can take the positives from creating chances]. But we didn’t really convert from them.
"So it is hard to take really. We have got another game coming up, so hopefully we can put things right.
"Like I said, there is another game coming up in a few days so hopefully we can get through in the cup.
"He (Sakala) has been working hard in training and been showing how good he is. We are all happy for him and delighted for his first goal."
