CELTIC boss Ange Postecoglou has made his first backroom staff appointment since taking over the reigns at the club.
Ex-Morton interim boss Anton McElhone has joined the Hoops as the new head of sports science.
The 40-year-old left Cappielow in March after inheriting the Championship side's hotseat from David Hopkin, being permanently replaced by Gus MacPherson.
McElhone takes over the backroom role at Celtic from Jack Nayler.
He left his position at the club earlier this year in June to move abroad, joining exciting European side RB Leipzig.
McElhone has previously worked for Tottenham - spending close to a decade as academy and first-team fitness coach.
He then moved on to pastures new to become No.2 at New England Revolution in early 2018.
He also had a short stint at Bradford City with Hopkin, prior to the pair working together at Morton.
McElhone becomes Postecoglou's first appointment to his backroom team, with Gavin Strachan and John Kennedy, among others, still at the club from previous seasons.
